eROBSON cooperation partnership

eROBSON is strategic partnership of six partner organization that will provide a standard of excellence in Educational Robotics in a blended and online formats enabled by Augmented Reality. The partnership brings together internationally renowned institutions that will apply their expertise in research, development and teaching into a set of new tools and professionally designed materials to help improve teaching STEM subjects in the conditions when access to laboratories is difficult. The partnership is funded by the EU Erasmus program as a two-years project.

Norwegian University of Science and Technology participates in eROBSON with two units. The IMTEL team has expertise in Augmented Reality development, technology-enhanced learning, designing innovative learning tools, and consortium management. The NTNU’s resource centre for STEM-education has expertise in innovative STEM projects in cooperation with schools.

International Hellenic University participates in eROBSON with two units. AETMA lab has experience and expertise in AR and VR, web, mobile design/development, and advanced learning tech. IEES Lab has strong expertise and 10 years experience in Educational Robotics, STEM education, and related technologies.

Open University of the Netherlands participates in the project with the Department of Technology Enhanced Learning and Innovation (TELI), which is conducting research in the fields of using digital technology to
improve educational processes, innovate learning and provide new learning experiences.

THVS Logo

Thor Heyerdahl Upper Secondary School offers a wide range of educational programs, both academic and vocational studies program. The school is one of the largest in Norway and very innovation-oriented. The school offers education programs among others in media and communication, electronics, and engineering and industrial production. The school uses innovative tools in teaching, e.g. Arduino in teaching Electro technology and Augmented Reality in technical industrial production.

Ellinogermaniki Agogi / Greek-German school is an educational organization in Greece, a member of EDEN, STEDE, and of ECSITE networks. Since 1998, the organization has established an R&D department for the design, development and implementation of the research activities in education, expanding the collaboration with universities and pedagogical institutions across Europe. The R&D Department acts as interface between the pedagogical research, the technological innovation and the school community.

Stichting Museum voor Industrie en Samenleving participates in the project with the Discovery Museum, the largest museum for science and technology in the southern part of the Netherlands. Еру ьгыугь offers spectacular exhibitions in the fields of science and technology, heritage, innovation and creativity and many workshops that match the experiences of the young people. In a playful way, students discover the influence of science and technology on the past, present and future.
